Introducing the Party Purse

Dazzle Designs is launching an evening purse with detachable necklace, bracelet and earrings. Perfect for those occasions when you want a real show-stopping bag and equally stunning at any time when simply wearing the jewellery. The bags are hand-knitted in sumptuous yarns, trimmed with satin ribbon and lined with contrasting colourful fabrics from designers such as Alexander Henry and Amy Butler. They measure approximately 16x18cm with magnetic closure and an interior mobile phone-sized pocket. The two removable handles can be worn as a bracelet and necklace. They are hand-crafted in hallmarked sterling silver combined with pearls and Swarovski crystal, semi-precious and volcanic lava beads. The bag charms double as earrings for pierced ears and all jewellery components can easily be re-attached when the bag is to be used again.

Background

Dazzle Designs, operated by designer jeweller Helen Jones is based in Moorlynch, Somerset. Helen, a former dentist who re-trained as a jeweller established the business 6 years ago and since then has exhibited locally and sold her work nationally. Last year, Helen was commissioned to design and make a range of ladies and gentleman’s jewellery for The Winnie Glass Company . This company, together with Dartington Crystal commercialized the fusing of human and pet ashes into crystal glass for sale as commemorative items, receiving international media exposure of Helens work.

Helen produces handcrafted and individually designed high quality jewellery, ranging from earrings to tiaras. She works mostly in sterling silver and gold combined with precious and semi-precious stones and beads, to create a collection of stylish day and evening wear.The designs are based principally on simplicity and elegance with a touch of glamour!
